Abstract

Pervasive home health care systems require an infrastructure of specialized hardware and software capable of collecting and processing data from the patient and the living environment, with the goal of providing health services. Such systems should be tailored to the needs of the patient, including those related to the disease treated. This paper presents some requirements to adapt the software architecture of a system and discusses the use of the principles of dynamic software product line in developing a reference architecture for systems of this class.
